Biography

Proven:

Over 30 years of documented experience in dealing with crowd safety, VIP protection, major operational planning and training.


Innovative:

Steve has  developed bespoke crowd management training courses for Losail International Circuit, Qatar for the 2024 Formula 1 Grand Prix. These courses were delivered to 700 event crowd safety guards, 50 supervisors and 10 Zone Crowd Managers.


During the London Olympics in 2012, trained over 650 Olympic Security operatives in Traffic Management Skills on behalf of LoCog for venue traffic regulation in London and throughout the UK. Steve  supported the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 training staff to support the Traffic Management schemes around Glasgow for the games. Most recently Steve led the training delivery for the two major event stewarding suppliers to Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.


Led an international team of crowd safety experts at 11 Team Training Grounds, two Fan Zones and one of the Stadiums for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.


Led the crowd safety planning and operations for the Blue Zone at the recent COP28UAE held at Expo City Dubai. Working closely with UN Security Services and host country Civil Defence, Police and Government departments.Steve is always striving for continual improvement and responding to emerging business needs.
